Morson Projects were appointed by Transport For London to support them with the Control Systems Upgrade as part of a wider programme of works for the Rotherhithe Tunnel.

CTRL Tunnel Ventilation Control
Morson Projects’ Ematics division were appointed by Network Rail to provide specialist software engineering and systems assurance for implementation of the Ventilation Control System for the three CTRL tunnels.

Morson Projects’ Ematics division were commissioned to conduct a site survey of the Dublin Port Tunnel’s network to investigate both the design concept, current performance and reliability of it’s infrastructure.

Tunnel Control, Data Communications & Electrical Subsystem Replacement
The 725 metre long Medway Tunnel is an immersed tube dual two‐lane tunnel with cut and cover approaches that was opened in 1996. As the proprietary control system had reached and of life and was no longer supported, a new SCADA control system was required to reduce risk of component failure.

Morson Projects were appointed by Transport for London to support them with a lighting upgrade at the Eastway Tunnel.

Heysham Operational Tripping System (OTS)
Morson Projects were appointed by the National Grid to support them on the Heysham Operation Tripping Scheme (OTS), which identified the current and future need for additional generation sources to be incorporated into the Transmission System, in the North West 1 and North West 2 regions.
