From March 28th to 30th 2025, we’ll be walking across the Severn Bridge in a continuous 48-hour relay to raise funds for this vital cause.
Colleagues from our Morson Projects Bristol office; Georgia Pomery, Becky Veal, Matthew Thompson, Gareth Beck, Katie Zalel, Devik Patel and Cherie Stanley will be joined by family members as well as colleagues from the wider Morson Group; Pat McMullan, Dan McGuigan, Quade Smith-Allen to fundraise as much as possible.
Becky Veal, Associate Director shared:
“This initiative was introduced to us by one of our key clients, UK Power Networks (UKPN), and offers a unique opportunity to stand with those who have served our country but are now facing homelessness.
“The charity is entirely donation-driven, with 100% of public donations going directly to helping veterans. Over 650 veterans have been helped by the charity so far and we hope our fundraising can support them in continuing this lifeline for those who need it.”

More about the charity
Helping Homeless Veterans UK is an incredible charity that has been working tirelessly to provide housing and support for veterans who find themselves without a home. In December 2024 alone, they helped 19 veterans secure housing at a cost of £20,000, and in January 2025, they provided homes for 17 veterans at a cost of £15,000. However, they need our support to continue this life-saving work.
A Testimonial of Hope: How Your Support Makes a Difference
One of the most powerful ways to understand the impact of Homeless Veterans UK is through the voices of those they’ve helped. Here is a heartfelt testimonial from a British Army veteran who benefitted from the charity’s support:
“I was referred to Homeless Veterans UK following a period of being homeless and living in a car park stairwell. I found it difficult getting out of the situation I was in due to not accepting help as easily and struggling financially. With the help I received from Homeless Veterans UK, I managed to get back into a job and stable housing. I’ve also received support for my medical condition, which would have been incredibly difficult to manage if I was still on the street. I cannot express enough gratitude for the help and support I’ve received.”
