The programme gave students a unique opportunity to explore the world of engineering through a series of interactive sessions, technical presentations, and hands-on exercises led by members of our Belfast team.

Throughout the week, students were introduced to a range of disciplines, including:

  • Aircraft design
  • Stress analysis
  • Engine control software development
  • Fuel systems

A highlight of the week was a visit to Thales Belfast, where the students received an exclusive factory tour. The Thales team also led an engaging discussion on early career opportunities in engineering.

The week was made possible thanks to the support of our Belfast colleagues, who generously shared their time and expertise – Gordon Murphy, Karthikeyan Gopalakrishnan, Baskaran Nagavel, Dean Ellison, Gareth McAllister and Jason O’Hagan. A special thank you to Mary Beattie, who handled all the logistics, coordination, and made sure the team and students were well looked after with plenty of refreshments throughout the week.

At Morson Projects, we’re committed to supporting the next generation of engineers and professionals. We’re proud to have shared our knowledge and experiences with these students, and we look forward to continuing to inspire and mentor future talent as they enter the world of engineering.
