This year also marked the debut of the Early Careers Development Programme Awards, a new initiative recognising individuals who embody and demonstrate our company’s core values of Care, Collaboration, Courage, and Curiosity.
Originally, the awards welcomed nominsations for a Care Award, Courageous Award, Collaboration Award, Collaboration Award and Mentor of the Year Award. However, with such a wealth of talent and dedication on display, the judges were inspired by the incredible nominations, each reflecting unique contributions to our culture.
Head Judge, Becky Hicks, Group HR Business Partner, shared:
“As the awards judges reviewed the nominations and read through all the incredible entries, it became clear that some individuals stood out with special achievements, having been nominated by multiple people across different categories with powerful examples of their contributions.
“We therefore felt it was important to highlight these exceptional efforts, so additional awards were needed to ensure these individuals received the recognition they truly deserve. As a result the ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ and ‘the Emerging Talent Award’ were both created.”

He has taken an active role in training new team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. By effectively communicating his findings to the client and advocating for essential changes, Joel has improved workflow efficiencies and elevated engineering standards within the project.”
