This year also marked the debut of the Early Careers Development Programme Awards, a new initiative recognising individuals who embody and demonstrate our company’s core values of Care, Collaboration, Courage, and Curiosity.
One of the event’s highlights was the announcement of the Care Award winner:
Recognising a Commitment to Care
For the Care Award the judges were seeking examples of individuals who demonstrate their understanding and compassion towards colleagues and clients; people who go out of their way to support team members, providing encouragement during challenging times.
This award celebrates people who actively participate in community initiatives and take time in creating a positive work environment for their peers.

“Gareth has earned this award through providing valuable guidance to aspiring engineering graduates and taking the time to engage with the next generation with STEM activities.
“It is clear to see that Gareth was nominated because of his calm demeanor and genuine listening skills which has enabled him to connect effectively with others, whether promoting STEM subjects through work placements or participating in events. Gareth’s dedication to fostering interest in STEM and his thoughtful influence on those around them truly embody the spirit of the Caring Award.”
