Morson Projects were appointed by Airbus to provide Structural Design & Analysis and Systems Engineering & Integration for a new Landing Gear Extension Retraction System.
OUR SOLUTION
Morson Projects worked closely with Airbus to meet their requirements of:
- Loweringthef NLG Bay for freighter variant
- Revising performance, reliability and safety targets
- Revising geometry and loading
As a result, our project execution included:
- Overall planning and V&V Management
- Revised kinematics modelling
- Upgraded Extension Retraction System
- New installation design and structural re-evaluation
