Morson Projects were appointed by Horizon Nuclear Power to provide Technical Services for the proposed Wylfa Newydd nuclear power plant in Anglesey, Wales.
OUR SOLUTION
Wylfa Newydd nuclear power plant was a proposed two-reactor nuclear plant under development in Anglesey, Wales. At the time of our involvement, the 2,700MW power plant was anticipated to begin power generation by the mid-2020. The project has since been put on-hold.
The project wplanned to increase low-carbon power supplies in the UK by powering up to five million homes and was expected to generate 4,000 jobs during construction and 850 permanent jobs during operations.
Morson Projects were on a Framework with Horizon Nuclear Power to provide Consultancy & Engineering services for the Wylfa development.
